Bonnie Cole
INTERIM EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Bonnie Cole serves as the Interim Executive Director of Foothill Family Shelter, bringing over 13 years of experience with our team.
Bonnie also maintains the financial records of the agency and provides oversight of the apartments, including building maintenance and improvements. She supports our mission by ensuring our families have a safe and supportive environment as they work to improve their lives.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR
Deanna Alsdorf is a dedicated and compassionate individual serving as the Community Development Coordinator With a fervent commitment to making a positive impact, she embodies the values of hope, collaboration, and empowerment. In her role, Deanna undertakes a diverse range of responsibilities, with a primary focus on marketing and community engagement.

Rita Vargas
LEAD CASE MANAGER
Meet Rita Vargas, a devoted Case Manager at Foothill Family Shelter. Rita brings extensive experience in offering support and advocacy to individuals facing homelessness. Armed with a solid foundation in Sociology from Cal Poly Pomona and a deep-seated commitment to aiding others, Rita's mission is to ensure clients receive the necessary assistance and resources to embark on the journey of rebuilding their lives.

Raquel Sanchez
COMMUNITY SERVICES MANAGER
Raquel Sanchez started as an intern in 2014 and continued to support the shelter as a volunteer for a couple of years before becoming an official staff member in June 2020. Raquel now serves as the Community Services Manager while still overseeing all the volunteers. She has a passion for helping people and enjoys connecting people in ways they can help their community and make a difference.

Crystal Hardy
CASE MANAGER
Crystal Hardy serves as a Case Manager here at Foothill Family Shelter. She works closely with individuals in our programs to create and maintain healthy and efficient lifestyle skills. Crystal's education in behavioral psychology has greatly influenced her approach to help those in need, encouraging self-advocacy and a goal-oriented mentality. Working with those in need has been a continual passion for Crystal, and she is grateful for each day she is able to do so.

COMMUNITY SERVICES ASSISTANT
Miranda Hernandez serves as the Community Services Assistant at Foothill Family Shelter, where she plays a vital role in connecting disadvantaged community members to essential resources and services. Her dedication to giving back and serving the community drives her every day, and she is grateful for the opportunity to be part of an organization that makes a difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness -
Dwight Voegele
MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Dwight is our Maintenance Technician and does a great job maintaining our shelter apartments. He has worked at Foothill Family Shelter for over 9 years. He retired from the Dept of Defense in 2005, where he worked on Facilities Maintenance at March Airbase. He is experienced with plumbing, electrical, heating systems and roofs. We depend on his knowledge to keep our shelter families safe.
